AMS Racing ~ Vintage Factory

AMSRacing.com was opened in 1990 in Tempe, AZ.  At first we were a motorcycle junk yard.  We started adding new parts, a couple mechanics, and then got into vintage stuff along the way.  The City of Tempe took the property for new development, and forced us out of the junk yard business about six years ago.  We then moved to Mesa, AZ to a 15,000ft retail store for the next three years.  It was not a good move, but we made it through our three year lease and moved to a smaller mail order location.  Now we are in our third year of working from there and it seems to be working out much better now.

Tim has been with AMS Racing for over eight years now and has added a lot to what makes AMS Racing work.  He's dependable, honest and hard working....a very good man!

AMS Racing has been the national series sponser of the AHRMA National Cross Country Series for the last 3 years and also has sponsored the National VMX series as well.

AMS Racing ~ Dave Boydstun Riding     I, David Boydstun (the owner), have worked for AHRMA in many different jobs over the last 16 years as a Series Sponsor, Tech Inspector, Regional Coordinator of the S/W Regional Series, an elected Trustee, the National Off Road Director for AHRMA for over three years, as well as being the founder of the Arizona based vintage club AVDRA back in 1990. Over the years, I have collected over 300 vintage bikes, but now am down to about 40 of my favorites. I grew up in SoCal, racing CMC stuff and moved to Arizona in 1979 after coming out to visit friends. I fell in love with the weather and the little slower pace than SoCal was.....It's very nice here in the desert.

AMS Racing has changed a lot over sixteen years...but we do love motorcycles and the people that fix them, collect them, and ride them. We are motorcycle people!

Please give us a try and see if we can't help you with your next project...thanks for reading and thanks for your business.
